Moorea - French Polynesia MSFS

Mo'orea, also spelled Moorea, is a volcanic island nestled in the heart of French Polynesia. It belongs to the Windward Islands, a captivating group within the Society Islands, located just 17 kilometers (11 miles) northwest of Tahiti. The name itself carries a touch of magic: "Moʻoreʻa" originates from Tahitian, where "Moʻo" means "lizard" and "Reʻa" signifies "yellow." Legend has it that a yellow lizard was abandoned by its parents and washed ashore on this enchanting island.

Mo'orea is a land of stories, where lush tropical landscapes meet dramatic mountain peaks, palm-fringed bays, and turquoise lagoons. Imagine fragrant pineapple plantations, hidden waterfalls, and a gateway to Polynesian culture. It's the little sister of nearby Tahiti, yet it holds its own allure-a wonderland waiting to be explored.

This is an improvement project on top of the already outstanding visuals made by Asobo and Microsoft. Featuring Detailed rock formations, enhanced coastal area with tropical vegetation, human models, custom buildings with PBR textures, stationary and moving boats. Improve ground texture and improvement on the hills and mountains.
