The Story

Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (IATA: TEP ; ICAO: RCTP) is an international airport located in Dayuan District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan, about 35 kilometers from downtown Taipei, which is busiest and largest in Taiwan. When it opened on February 26, 1979, it was named Chiang Kai-shek International Airport. In October 2006, its name was changed to the current Taoyuan International Airport. The RCTP is ranked 43rd in the World's Best Airports 2025.
